The Internet Can't Get Enough of This Dog Singing in the Shower – PetHelpful

Have you ever seen a dog sing in the shower? Neither have we. It’s what caught our attention in a recent TikTok video from Tuser @ceceandherpups. The 67-second-long clip is captioned, “Does your dog also like to sing in the shower like mine?” We were instantly drawn in.

The video starts with the dog’s human mom, who we’re assuming is Cece. “I’ve been postponing giving Yuki a bath,” she says. “But considering his paws are now green, I feel like this is the perfect opportunity.” The video then transitions to a clip of Cece in the bathroom, putting on a shower cap and getting fully ready for the experience. “I always look a little crazy when I do this,” she says, putting on the shower cap.

After getting the dog shampoo and other supplies out, Cece goes back to get Yuki, who is hiding in his crate. “Come on. He’s hiding in his crate,” she says. “Yuki! Come on. Let’s go.” After some coaxing, Yuki reluctantly leaves the crate and starts walking down the hallway. After a quick detour to check his food bowl, he makes it to the bathroom.

“We need to get rid of these green paws. They look really gross,” Cece says as Yuki is now standing in the bathtub. Then she starts running the water. After some initial rinsing and soaping, Yuki sets in his howling. But it’s not just any howling. It seems like Yuki actually wants to sing as he’s hitting different pitches. 

“Hold on, we have to dry you off,” Cece says to Yuki once the shower is over. And Yuki keeps singing as he dries off. Yuki then gets an adorable hooded towel that goes over his head and body, similar to what you’d put on a human toddler. After some ear and teeth cleaning, Yuki hears the magic words he’s been waiting for. “You’re free,” Cece says, opening the door and letting him out. After some post-bath zoomies, Yuki gets a treat, and the video concludes.
