Although I come from the city, I've always had an affinity for the countryside. Something about the fresh air and farm life is breathtaking and attractive. It also helps that farm animals are known for being just as adorable and hilarious as any city pet. While these animals may have a different reputation than dogs and cats, they're equally as sweet and precious. We've seen on social media how different species, like cows, horses and even emus, have personalities of their own that vary by breed.

One of the most remarkable parts of these farm animals is just how loyal and attached they are to their humans, like any pet. True to this, one human showcased just how precious her Highland cows are, and how strict their bedtime routine is. Like any city pet, these Highland cows love their beauty sleep and routine, and honestly, it's inspiring.

Before letting her Highland cows into their stalls, one hobby farm owner prepares their respective spaces to help them wind down. All of the work is managed and supervised by barn manager Dwayne, a chicken that definitely looks like he keeps things in their place. After getting the go-ahead from Dwayne, this farm owner takes to each stall to supply the mini Highland cows with their food for the night.

Once everything is set, their human opens the barn doors and officially invites the group of Highland Cows in. Just like a group of little kids, the cows run into the barn and directly into their respective stalls. No fighting for a stall and no delay, each cow knows exactly where to go, a truly impressive feat, no matter the species. Each cow enjoys their meal with absolute delight, which is both charming and kind of incredible to watch. Even Dwayne joins in the action with a last dinner meal.
