Tiny Newfoundland Puppy ‘Barks Like a Grown Man’ and We Are in Love

Meet Everest: The Newfoundland Puppy with a Man-Sized Bark!

Big dogs and booming barks go hand-in-hand, right? But imagine a tiny puppy with a voice that sounds like a grown man! That’s Everest, a ridiculously adorable 4-month-old Newfoundland puppy taking the internet by storm.

Born in North Carolina on November 21st, this little guy (aptly named Everest, considering his future size!) already has a bark that’ll make you do a double-take. His mom drove ten hours to bring him home, where he joins a fun-loving family of doodles: a Saint Bernadoodle and a Newfiedoodle.

And Everest fits right in! In a recent video, he’s caught showing off his surprisingly deep bark while playfully tugging on his sister’s fluffy tail. He’s already earning the nickname “Heavy Evy,” and we can see why! He’s growing fast and already looks like he could outweigh smaller adult dogs.

Newfoundlands are known for being gentle giants, fantastic with kids and relatively easy to train. Sure, they can be a little stubborn, but with a face like Everest’s, who could resist? This sweet pup is destined to be a massive, loveable goofball, probably spending his days trying to be a lap dog.

We can’t wait to watch him grow! And we’re definitely hoping he keeps that adorable white patch on his chest. What a cutie!
