Video: Golden Retriever Makes Sure Owner's Pets Keep Coming

When it comes to petting, every dog has a “more please” button, but Mochi takes it to a whole new level. Living in San Diego, this pup from @missmochithegolden essentially demands a 24/7 massage therapist. In a new video, we see the Golden Retriever react when her owner thinks it’s time for a break in petting. Spoiler: Mochi doesn’t do “breaks.”

The video shows her blissed out on the couch with a toy in her mouth. She is soaking up every scritch and some quality afternoon pets from mom. But the moment the pets stop, Mochi snaps out of her trance. She follows her owner’s hand with a look of pure betrayal.

This Golden Retriever is living proof that some dogs simply don’t understand the concept of personal space. In the video, she launches a full protest to get things moving again. First one paw, then the second, and then her whole body lands on Mom. Over 16,000 people have liked the clip, likely because they’ve experienced this same “velcro dog” behavior. In Mochi’s world, stopping the affection is simply not an option.
