Video: 'Office Golden Retriever' Successfully Distracts Coworkers To Give Him Pets

Some offices have coffee breaks to keep morale up. Others, like the one in this video, have a Golden Retriever. Cheddar has officially declared himself the office’s most important employee — or rather, everyone’s “favorite coworker.”

Instead of crunching numbers or sitting through meetings, his main job seems to be making sure nobody gets too focused on their laptops when there are perfectly good pets and cuddles available.

In this Instagram video, Cheddar the Golden Retriever shows off his unique management style. From hopping onto conference tables to wedging himself into booths, he makes it very clear that all attention belongs to him. As for work deadlines, the pup would say, “What’s that?”

Cheddar the Golden Retriever’s office antics spread fast, with the video soaring past 148K likes in no time. It starts with him sneaking his way onto the conference table, only to be scooped back down by a human.

However, that doesn’t stop him — within moments, the Golden is spotted inside a Zenbooth. He looks like he’s either staged a lock-in protest or appointed himself head of “quiet time.” The chaos builds from there. He wiggles onto an employee’s lap, effectively blocking their view of their laptop.
