(SPOT.ph) It's National Pet Day, and if it were up to fur parents, a statue in honor of their beloved fur babies would’ve been built a long time ago for making the world—your world—a better place. But as that’s not possible (yet), you could at least have art director, illustrator, and furmom Jassy Laragan draw an adorable portrait of them and have it printed on a Uniqlo UT, which you could wear every day for everyone to see. It’s not the first time Pajama Art by Jassy Laragan has made its way into Uniqlo’s stores. In 2024, she got her sketches showcased through a mini-display at the Uniqlo Westgate branch in Alabang. Laragan also collaborated with big brands such as Canva and Netflix Philippines on various projects. She also does live portraits and yes, paw-traits. Case in point: this weekend, you’ll be seeing her (and her fur babies Woowoo and Bubu) make the magic happen for you and your pets at the Uniqlo Manila Flagship store in Glorietta 5. You can get a blank UTme! t-shirt or tote bag at the flagship store, show a picture of your pet to the doodle booth, and get a digital artwork of your pet on the spot.

For the uninitiated, UTme! is the Japanese lifewear brand's in-store service that allows customers to print their custom shirts. Both the UT customization area and booth will be located on the second floor. The final step is to choose where to put the portrait, add some personal touches, and wait for it to get printed. You not only have a memento of your precious pets, but also a basic wardrobe piece that you can wear for years and years.

Adult tees start at P990, while kids' shirts are at P590. If you prefer to have the adorable artwork of your precious babies on a tote bag, it's also possible. The tote bags start at P790. According to Laragan's response to Instagram comments, two pets on one shirt is possible. If you're a parent to more of our four-legged best friends, you could get two or more UT shirts or a tote to have them all fit in one portrait.

Uniqlo and Pajama Art x Jassy Laragan's collaboration is available on the second floor of the UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store, Glorietta 5, Ayala Avenue, Makati, and is happening this weekend, April 11 and 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more of Uniqlo's offerings, check out their website.
