Spooky Pet Photos Raise Funds – Cornwall Seaway News

Stacy’s Pet Depot transformed its outdoor space into a haunted haven for pets and their people on Saturday, October 18th, during a Halloween-themed photoshoot fundraiser in support of the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre.
The second annual event drew dozens of attendees, each receiving a festive photo in front of a spooky Balloon Babes backdrop. “We’ve had amazing turnouts so far today,” said Arianne Kirkey, community outreach coordinator for the SD&G Animal Centre. “People are coming down with their animals and taking really adorable photos. We even had two guinea pigs in tiny little costumes-it was super cute and random!”
Costumes and pet packs were available by donation, with all proceeds going directly to support local animal welfare. “Any money that we raise goes directly back into our community,” said Kirkey. “People can feel good knowing they’re supporting the SD&G Animal Centre when they come to events like this.”
Kirkey also praised the host. “I can’t speak highly enough about Stacy’s Pet Depot. We could not throw an event like this without their direct support.”
