CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Cheese products sold nationwide were recalled after the FDA determined they may contain E. coli pathogens.
The Food and Drug Administration announced that Raw Farm entered a voluntary recall "under protest" and "as a path forward" after the organization learned that multiple cheese products produced by the company may contain E. coli pathogens.
"No pathogens have been found in RAW FARM-brand cheese products," the company said. "No pathogens have been found in FDA samples collected directly or samples collected by state Health Department officials. RAW FARM continues to contest the epidemiological links provided by the FDA."
The FDA advised customers who purchased the affected products to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
