FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WKRC) — An Indiana woman has learned her fate after trafficking a missing girl and setting up multiple sexual encounters.
According to WPTA, 22-year-old Leticia Granados was sentenced on Thursday after she trafficked a missing teenage girl in 2024.
Per the report, Granados and her alleged accomplice, Harley Cooley, set up around 20 sexual encounters between a 17-year-old girl and multiple men after Granados allegedly spoke to the victim through Instagram and took her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
WANE reported that the victim was picked up from her home in Fort Wayne after she reportedly expressed to an Instagram user that she wanted to leave home and find someone to take her in.
The victim was then introduced to two women, Granados and Cooley, who reportedly threw her personal phone out the window and gave her a new one after picking her up, the report states. The girl was eventually taken to Indianapolis, where several encounters with men were reportedly scheduled, some of which involved Granados, per WPTA's report.
