Baby Giraffe Zoomies Are the Cutest Chaos You'll See Today – Yahoo
We have all seen adorable social media videos of animals getting the zoomies. There are clips of every breed of dog, horses, and other farm animals, and even elephants and rhinos. However, Tanganyika Wildlife Park recently shared a unique zoomies video that many of us were not prepared for, especially me!
In their recent social media post, the baby giraffes got a little worked up and, in an effort to burn off some pent-up energy before going in for the night, they suddenly took off zooming! In all honesty, it’s the cutest thing you didn’t know you needed to see today.
The video shows the mama giraffes and their babies spending time together in their wide-open space behind the nighttime stalls. There are four baby long-necks in the yard, and once one of them takes off, it becomes contagious—and the others can’t help but join in on the zoomie fun.
There were some wild moves happening, too. The baby giraffes are galloping, bucking, and trotting, but they are anything but graceful. One viewer joked, “They run in such a crazy way, like they're made of knees! You find yourself wondering how they can actually go anywhere like that!” Another jokingly asked, “Have their legs not been introduced to each other properly yet?”
At one point, one of the babies even has a minor collision—thanks to yard traffic—with the backside of a much larger mama giraffe. But that doesn’t seem to faze him one bit. It’s as if he said, “Whoops, pardon me!” before carrying on with his zoomie session like nothing even happened.
