Cats and Dogs at Overcrowded Shelters Waiting for Their One-Way Ticket to Freedom

We need your support to help fly more dog and cats home for the holidays. Shelters are overflowing with homeless animals who are at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space and adopters.
On December 2 (GivingTuesday), dozens of dogs and cats will get a one-way ticket to Wisconsin. Help fly them to freedom and save lives.
Save a Heart is a life-saving initiative of Greater Good Charities that aims to reduce shelter euthanasia in overcrowded shelters by preventing and treating heartworm disease in shelter dogs, while transporting adoptable asymptomatic heartworm-positive dogs to safety.
Together with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, the makers of HEARTGARD® Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) and The Animal Rescue Site, Save a Heart transports hundreds of asymptomatic heartworm-positive dogs to new homes each year.
