A pet owner has melted the hearts of viewers online after sharing a video of their Labrador puppy seemingly learning how to summon them through a pet camera—by barking directly at it until they respond.

The short clip, shared to TikTok on December 7 by the owner under @beau.the.labracadabrador, shows a Labrador puppy standing in front of a pet cam and barking repeatedly. The puppy also stomps its paws and moves around in animated excitement. To date, the post has been viewed more than 408,000 times and liked by over 56,000 TikTok users, sparking laughter and emotional reactions from viewers on the platform.

“My dog has realized that if he barks at his puppy cam when I go out it sends me a notification, and I'll talk to him. I'm torn between this being super cute or heartbreaking," an overlaid text on the video explained.
