Meet Billie, Our Canines & Crosstreks Adoptable Pet of the Week – Eye On Annapolis
Are you looking for a the fluffiest of all fluff balls? Then meet Billie, a cute little Maltese mix who is our pet of the week!
Billie is only 10 months old so he is still working on some puppy training and has been at the SPCA since the end of September. He’s fun, playful, and also enjoys just laying down at your feet and chilling! A perfect pup for any family, or any living situation! As Kelly said, little white fluffy dogs do not last too long at the shelter (we are not sure if it is because of adoption or because Kelly snatches them for her personal collection), so if Billie interests you, make an appointment to come meet him! Funny observation: his fur is so silky smooth that he had trouble walking on the tile floor at Annapolis Subaru–will be very entertaining when he comes running into a kitchen at full bore!
In Subaru news, Billy is back and is still slammed with people buying Subarus. And with interest rates as low as zero–that is no surprise. Share the Love, Annapolis Subaru’s annual program is gearing up to benefit the Blue Ribbon Project ($400 for each new car sold or leased between November 15th and the end of the year will go to the organization or another of the customer’s choosing). But before that, they are laying the love on the pups with Subaru Loves Pets Month for October. Stop by on Wednesday October 22nd (National Make a Dog’s Day) from noon to 2pm and try on a new Subaru and pick up a Chewbaru dog toy for your favorite pup! The SPCA will have the mobile adoption unit and Pupalicious wil have plenty of treats! Plus, we’ll be recording next week’s Canines & Crosstreks, so come say hello!
And while Annapolis Subaru is keeping busy, so is the SPCA. Theyt are starting to set up Lights on the Bay (see dates below) and have several events between now and then. We chatted about the uniqueness of dog noses, the best dogs for first time dog owners, and a report card on how well we are doing with adopting guests from Canines & Crosstreks!
Want to make an appointment with the SPCA of Anne Arundel County to meet and adopt a dog, cat, or small animal? Animal viewing at the main shelter is available Tuesday – Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.
