Stolen puppy found by police 170 miles from home – AOL.com

The six-week-old male black Labrador was taken from its home in the Bradley Stoke area of south Gloucestershire on 30 December.

Information was passed to Cambridgeshire Police who found the puppy in the Ramsey area on 3 January and were able to reunite it with its owner in Gloucestershire.

Posting on Facebook about finding the puppy, Cambridgeshire Police wrote: "Thanks to some great teamwork, the puppy was tracked down safely, and one of our officers happily did a bit of puppy‑sitting until the owner could come and collect their very relieved (and very cute) pet.

A spokesman for Avon & Somerset Police told the BBC: "The puppy has since been returned to its owner and our investigation continues."
