As far as domestic cats go, Maine Coon cats are known for being one of the biggest breeds. On average, they tend to be much longer (and much fluffier) than other breeds of cat, making them the perfect pet for anyone who is looking for a gigantic cuddle buddy.

But even the biggest Maine Coon you’ve ever seen may not top the size of Lazio, the orange kitty who is being shown off in this TikTok video that Modern Animal Vet shared on Monday, January 19.

This vet’s office is showing off the biggest cat they’ve ever seen, and considering the fact that they must see dozens of cats each week, that’s really saying something. Once you see Lazio, you’ll understand — the vet was right when describing him as an “absolute unit” in their caption.

Lazio is fluffy, beautiful, and bigger than some dogs out there, and he has giant paws to match. It also helps that, despite his intimidating size, he seems to be a total sweetheart.

Yes, Lazio is a very big boy, but by no stretch is he the largest cat in the world — at least, not according to published records.
