Scared Rescue Dachshund's Brave Look of Pure Love for New Mom Is Everything – Yahoo

Getting a rescue dog can be scary, to be honest. Though it's very exciting to welcome a new dog into your life, there are so many questions, so many "what ifs" to consider. When we rescue, the last thing we ever want to do is let them down. It's a lot of pressure!

It's all worth it, though. There will always be a few hard moments, but as a whole, rescuing dogs is the most incredible experience. Whether you're fostering them for now or you're taking them in forever, you're potentially saving a life. Never let anyone make you feel like that's not an amazing thing.

Recently, one Dachshund had to go through the process. It was really tough on her; she was abandoned, but she was found. Luckily, a very nice woman found her, and she knew pretty much immediately that she was safe. The look of genuine love between them is everything:

Sally Monk was not about to let the Universal Doggy Distribution System pass her by, and thank goodness for that. This precious girl needed a loving home! After being abandoned, it was hard for her to even think about trusting anyone, but there was something so special about Sally.

This was the first video on the account that the dog appeared in, and we still don't know her name, but that's okay. We do know that she's loving her new home, and in particular, she's absolutely eating up all of the naps and cuddles her new mama is providing her with:
